Yes I understand and that saves using a cord. So for most people I guess it is good. My problem is the wireless charger on my vehicle doesn’t work properly. Apple says it’s not a phone problem and Linclon says it is not a car problem it’s a phone problem. So there is that. Lol.
What phone do you have and year of the Lincoln. Ford has issued Service Bulletins to reprogram the charging pad to fix this issue. Here is one such bulletin and if this is the year/model of your car, taking it to your dealer may persuade them to fix it instead of saying it is not their fault. To be fair, Apple also had an issue with their software that was fixed with iOS 17.2.

Most cars nowadays have wireless charging options as well, so it eliminates the need to plug in your phone at all.

It’s a 2019 Navigator and a iPhone 15 pro. Had a 12. Truck has been to dealer 3 times. So far I can’t get them to do anything. Last time they showed me a ford service bulletin that says it is an iPhone problem. I am not giving up.
