I'm looking to consolidate my icloud storage plans, from 2 individual plans into 1 family storage account. but I need to know if the space on ie 2TB storage space, is this per device (each receiving 2TB) or total space for account (2 device = 2TB total to share?

iCloud storage plans are per Apple ID. One Apple ID can use an iCloud storage plan on multiple devices.
If the owner of the iCloud storage plan chooses to share it with a family, then all Apple IDs in the family have access to the shared storage plan and each family member can use it on multiple devices.
If you choose to share a 2TB plan with your family, the total available storage is still 2TB (no matter how many family members and devices). Everyone in the family sharing group can access any or all of the available (unused) storage (ie., first come, first served) until all of the 2TB has been used.

If you have the Apple Family One with 200 GB Storage and want to take it up to 2 TB ( 200GB is not much across a family) does anybody know what the charge is , is it the same step up in price as the standard iCloud storage which would be an additional £ 6 per month in the UK.
is icloud family storage a shared amount? or is it individual?
