Can not find in system preferences, “enable iPhone to unlock MAC.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 14.2

Apple doesn't offer an option to unlock a Mac with an iPhone. There is an option to do so with a Watch. See: Unlock your Mac with your Apple Watch - Apple Support

There may be 3rd party apps that will unlock a Mac with an iPhone but I'm not familiar with that.

It's nothing to do with the age of the Mac. Apple hasn't offered that option on any Mac.
