I can’t get rid of the chat ticker (sidebar) on Facebook on my iPad mini when I am in landscape mode. This reduces the size of the regular content. All the videos on google say to tap an icon that no longer exists. Can anyone help?

Facebook support can help or look a their help center.
The help center was useless. Haven’t been able to find a contact for Facebook.
