Please let us turn off shake to undo "feature"

Dear Apple,
Please let us have the ability to turn off shake to undo feature on the iPhone. It is a cute feature that never gets implemented when I intend Rather, it is more of a hindrance to have to tap to get past the "Nothing to Undo" or "Undo Typing?" dialog.

Apparently, I am to shaky to type, but have enough motor control to play games and use other motion-controlled apps just fine.

Again, please let us turn off Shake to Undo on the iPhone.

Thanks

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.4), Apple TV, iPhone 2g, 3GS, 4, iPad, iMac, Mac mini

It happens very often with me without shaking it hard i never knew it was a feature untill today it's annoying as **** you might be OK or happy with it, But I'm not and I should be able to dissable it of i choose to, Just sent apple feedback.

If it happens without you shaking it significantly, then it's either a software glitch or hardware failure with your device. Doesn't mean you need to jailbreak anything. In fact, jailbreaking voids all of your support from Apple, so I don't think it's worth it.

I'm happy with it because the feature doesn't pop-up during my normal use. If I were you, I'd do some normal troubleshooting, determine if it is hardware or not, and if it's hardware, get it serviced/replaced by Apple. But you do what you want.

I agree with TJ on this. There's something wrong with your iPad. I've rarely had this happen on my iPhone by accident and never had it happen on my iPad. Like TJ, I tested it and it requires pretty deliberate action. I also agree that jailbreaking your device is not necessarily going to solve anything (especially if it's a hardware issue) and it opens up your device to a whole host of other potential problems.

This happens to me quite a lot. It's more annoying because the undo button is right in the middle of the screen (using an iPad sideways), which means all methods of clicking it are a bit awkward.

It can be replicated by holding the ipad at a reading angle above the duvet when you are sitting up in bed, so the bottom edge is on the duvet and the top is about a small paperclip above it. Simply let it go and fall onto the duvet. That causes the pop up every time for me.

Please let us turn off shake to undo "feature"
