MISSING ROW NUMBERS
Hi - can anyone tell me what I may have done to hide the row numbers on my spreadsheet and how to recover them? Thanks

From your screensheet it looks likely that your table accidentally got dragged a little too far up on the canvas.
Try drawing those concentric circles at the upper left down a little (to move the entire table down) and your "missing" rows should reappear.

Tried that and didn't seem to work, but think you are on the right track. Anyway, I have overcome the problem by copying and pasting the entire sheet to a new worksheet and all seems ok. Thanks for your help
B,
Quit Numbers, Restart computer, relaunch Numbers and hopefully your row numbers will be back.
There's no reason I can think of that the row numbers would be missing except for some random glitch that a restart should handle. No, these things shouldn't happen, but they do.

My next move would be to open a new Sheet and Copy/Paste objects from the bad sheet to the new sheet one at a time, checking the new sheet’s performance after each paste.
Thanks very much, SGIII. I have been trying for days to recover missing rows. Your suggestion worked, i e I dragged the two concentric circles in the upper left down and regained my rows. You are a genius. Thanks again.
RM.
Sorry, should have said it has only affected the one sheet. Restarting made no difference.
Thats what i did - see reply to SG111. Thanks
Sorry I missed that. Glad to hear you fixed the problem.
