I have never seen this type of clock on IPhone before. I don't know of any settings to change the clock type and haven’t changed any settings lately. I don’t have any apps for stuff like that.
It appears very briefly before my normal background. First time I thought I was seeing things, but this time I managed to get a screen shot of it. Has anyone seen this before?

Insure STBY mode is enabled in settings (StandBy on the main menu) (Read the explanation).
Plug in charging cable.
If enabled, press the ON/OFF (Entering STBY mode).
Place on its side and the analog clock will display for about 25 seconds.
When it goes black, slightly move it and it will display again.
Thats how it works for my iPhoneSE…IOS 17.5.1

I sure don’t understand the explanation. Pressing the side(?) button down then swiping left or right did nothing. I’d like to see this demo’d on a video.
I too saw a clock briefly on my phone but have no idea why it appeared.
