iTunes slow to start on Windows 11

Hi all,

Like a lot of people I have been experiencing iTunes taking about ten minutes to start/open in Windows 11.

I'm pretty sure after months of research that It all started when I used a program called CCleaner which is used to clean a hard drive of old program remnants and I'm pretty sure that since that day iTunes started acting up and I'm also sure that Ccleaner removed something that iTunes needed to play correctly.

I have searched everywhere to find a fix and have tried numerous solutions to no avail and the only one that I wouldnt try is a complete deletion and re-install because I have literally thousands of files in iTunes and it took forever to get all the album artwork correct because my albums were not purchased through Apple and apparently they dont like to play well with others.

I was about to update to Apples replacement for iTunes "Apple Music" but before starting the install It stated that iTunes will not work after installing the new program and of course I stopped.

Then yesterday after leaving the issue alone for some months I decided to use a third party program that wouldnt touch my iTunes should I not like it and landed on a program named "iMazing by digiDNA" and Installed that. I started the program and before starting to load files into it I was presented with a window to purchase the program for an outrageous yearly price so I immediately stopped because I thought that it was a free program and not just a free download.

Anyway, this is where it gets weird. After I closed iMazing down I decided to make sure that iTunes was still working and to my surprise it has started opening immediately each and every time I click on the icon.

So, I didnt even remove iMazing but it looks like it has added something back that iTunes needed and I dont want to mess with it any more, I simply deleted the desktop icon so that I don't accidentally remove it and undo all my lucky work.

I thought that I would post this and see what others think.

P.S. Ccleaner has now been removed after reading that it is a rather harsh program and doesnt care what it randomly removes.
