The sound quality became really poor with a delay when recording a QuickTime movie using an external microphone.

The sound quality significantly deteriorated with a noticeable delay when recording a QuickTime movie using an external microphone.

I attempted to record sound separately using Voice Memos, and the quality was excellent. Additionally, I adjusted the input volume settings for the external microphone, but the issue persisted.
