My bill saying my card is expired but it’s not and won’t let me add it back.

I have an email that says my card didn’t work to pay for a subscription that was due. I we

t in to see my card and it’s not expired, so not sure what to do. Or how to manually pay for it without using Apple Pay.

This is an ongoing issue. The work around is to add another payment method using a four digit expiration date. Remove the problematic card. Restart iPhone. Add problematic card to account using four digit expiration date. Secondary payment method may be removed if desired.
