can't send e-mail via outlook (ver.16.80) on mac mini running Sonoma 14.2.1 - error code 17898

All was working ok until yesterday - now I can receive e-mails but can't send e-mails via outlook. I have double checked all Outlook IMAP/SMTP settings incoming/outgoing. I have reset the password on third part e-mail account - used same password in Outlook. I have removed Outlook account and re-added.


Any help would be appreciated

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...


Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.


Does it work in the new account?
