Hi- when I record a video using quicktime I am unable to use quicktime to playback the video. It's there and I can move it into imovie and it plays fine. But when I click on play nothing happens in quicktime.
I'm using a 2021 14 inch macbookpro running Sonoma 14.2.1

Agreed - Sonoma was a bad choice - I relied on QT for my work - I now use VLC, and Final Video Player so I can at least have 2 videos open at once. Big pain - hoping someone reinvents a QT replacement that will allow easy edits and multiple files open. Good luck!
When I installed Sonoma on my Mac, Quicktime stopped working. Nothing plays. I abhor Sonoma, everything broke and i can't seem to undo it. Now I'm going app by app trying to find a fix.
