Photos app sort order

If I have dozens or hundreds of pictures in Photos, I don’t want to have to scroll for 10 mins to get to the newest picture.

I can create a new album, which allows me to change the sort order (ascending or descending), but then every time I take a new picture I have to manually move it to the new album.

Am I missing something, or is there a simpler work around?

What happened to sorting pictures in Photos app? I’ve looked through Apple Support and found a few articles that say you can choose the order of your pictures in the Photos app by opening an album and clicking on the “…” menu at the top right and choosing “Sort”, but there is no such option in that menu. What happened to that option? Why would they get rid of that feature? It’s so annoying that I can’t arrange my pictures however I want to in that app.

How to keep photos in the album order when making a slideshow? When I create a slideshow from an album, the photo order completely changes. How do I stop that from happening? I have tried the previously mentioned trick of pressing ctrl while clicking the album to make the slideshow but this does not work for me. I'm using Photos version 7. Thanks for any help! Chloe

Alphabetizing photo albums in iPhoto Hello, is it possible to alphabetize your photo albums in iPhoto? I've tried clicking to rearrange them, but they don't move. It makes it very difficult to sort pictures when albums are not alphabetized. Thank you!

The Recents album (first in Albums) shows a window with the most recently captures pictures first. The Imports view down in Utilities shows pictures in the order they were added to the phone.
