It sounds like there might be a setting or a connection issue causing this problem. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot:

  1. Your phone might be set to automatically lock after a certain period, which could interrupt the AirPlay connection. Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock, and set it to a longer duration or select "Never" to prevent the phone from locking during playback.
  2. Sometimes, an unstable Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection can disrupt AirPlay. Make sure your iPhone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network and that the network is stable. Also, check if Bluetooth is enabled, as AirPlay sometimes relies on it.
  3. Restart your iPhone and the TV. This simple step can often resolve minor connection issues.
  4. Ensure both your iPhone's iOS and your TV's software are updated to the latest versions. Updates often include bug fixes that might resolve such problems.
  5. In iPhone settings, go to General > Transfer or Reset >Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN settings. Reconnect to your Wi-Fi network afterward.
  6. Try using different apps or services to AirPlay the movies. Sometimes, specific apps might have compatibility issues that cause interruptions.
