Suddenly, today I find a bunch of emails saying "no sender", with headers looking like my actual emails I'd even read , and coincidentally after going to a gov. site ? I cant delete them? How is that possible? Next thing I see is Malwarebytes asking me to run a scan?? What? I've never had this before. Theres nothing in the email, theres no sender showing, and they wont delete? How is this possible?

Have you installed and run any "cleaning", "optimizing", "speed-up", anti-virus or VPN apps on your Mac?
Give this a try: boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.
NOTE 1: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;
• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed
• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)
• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically
• Disables user-installed fonts
• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files
NOTE 2: if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode. This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will insure a successful boot into Safe Mode.

In response, No I havent uploaded or installed any apps recently at all. I do have a VPN. Ive not had any issues with it and have had it for over 8 months? Thank you! I will look into your reboot suggestion. No wireless keyboard. It did oddly just go away as mysteriously as it came?
Unless you're using a true VPN tunnel, such as between you and your employer's, school's or bank's servers, they provide false security from a privacy standpoint.
