Glad that worked. Briefly. lol. Problem half-solved!

I do actually have another idea. I suspect you have multiple accessories competing for ‘Bluetooth primacy’.

Try both of these troubleshooting steps:

  1. If your Beats are paired to multiple devices, manually disconnect from (‘forget’ is the Apple terminology…not sure if it’s the same with android) all except the one you want to receive audio from.
  2. If you have multiple Bluetooth devices paired with your audio source, disconnect (forget) all except Beats.

Let me know if that solves your problem. 🙃

What device are you trying to connect your Beats to, anyway?

FWIW: If the steps above do solve your problem, you still may be able to re-establish most or all of the pairings you had to disconnect. But that will depend on what device you’re trying to connect with. Sometimes a particular device has ‘Bluetooth eccentricities’ you have to work around.

I think that will solve your current problem. 🤞🏻

You can try checking that your Beats X firmware is up-to-date. See below for instructions on how to do that using an Android device interface.

If this doesn’t fix your issue — and if there’s no obvious indication your headphones are malfunctioning (my Beats, which are older, indicate malfunction with unusual combinations of blinking lights that are hard to miss!) — then you’ll need to troubleshoot from the android OS and/or android application end.
