where are UPS shut down options on MacBook Pro 15" 2019 Monterey

Instructions for setting UPS shut down options in event of power outage point to "Energy saver" settings, which is not on current Monterey OS system settings. These are now under "Battery", and a UPS button shows when UPS plugged in by USB. However the UPS options do not include shut down.

Controlled shut down is critical to me, since external drives connected to the laptop (eg if I have stepped away when things are rendering) need to be protected from power outage by being shutdown by computer, not power cut, in event of power outage longer than a few minutes.

I am using APC-UPS 1350 and their serial shut down software is for PC. The shut down feature has been built into Mac from my experience with other Macs. However is absent on this laptop. Anyone have this issue and a solution? Thank you.

Thanks ishrugged, I wondered whether that would be the case, thanks for confirming. My solution then is to use only desktop mac and OS for running long term renders, to protect external drives/RAIDS before power is completey lost. It is surprising this is not available on a laptop, since long term renders from laptop to peripherals are definitely a reality for post production, and laptop battery will most likely outlast any UPS battery supporting an external drive or RAID. For running any processes with the laptop, I will have to be present in case a power interruption occurs, to shut down computer before UPS battery is drained.
