what is up with my battery health

I bought my iphone 14 pro in march 2023 and I took care of the battery health the best i could. But around when the ios17 came my battery health dropped to 99% 😐. i was a bit mad about it. But now every time my phone goes under 20%, even to 19% and i put it to charger immediately when i notice it. But still it every single time drops 1% of the battery health. and rn im at 91%. what am i doing wrong why is it doing this???

What you are seeing is totally normal. You can expect a 1-2% drop every month as the battery components degrade over time. You should still be able to get at least 2 years out of a battery. Of course this is based on the manufacturer date that the device was made, not when you purchased it. After it falls below 80% maximum capacity, it will be time for it to be replaced by Apple.
