WhatsApp on Dual SIM iPhone

Greetings,,,, I activated a second permanent att SIM on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now I have two separate phone numbers. One number was already registered with my personal WA Messenger, and I wanted to register the new second phone number with WA Business. When I install Business app, it first defaults my personal phone number, but it gives me the option to use a different number. I enter the new number, but it fails to either sending SMS activation code or call. Both SIMs are fully functional receiving SMS, Calls and internet connection is up. I did reset network settings, reinstalling the app, and all other possible online troubleshooting tips. Thx

I didn't have to use a spare phone. I installed WA Business, turned the primary sim off, kept the second number on, and activated WA business with the second number. Once activation is complete, I turned on the primary sim and am able to use both whatapp with primary number and WA business with the second number.

copy of what up for a second eSIM is not working in iphone 15 that is awful. in android we just add another account for another sim in same phone and that is that .
I took the iPhone 15 due to necessity and today I will keep Samsung for WhatsApp second number , because WhatsApp copy cannot work and only business app is applicable which is cutting my personal contacts when they use it and again more hassle.
why Os of iPhone 15 is not equipped to solve this simple thing like android. Totally sad .

It’s a Meta app and Meta login security that you’re having issues with, not an Apple.

I found out how to fix two WhatsApps accounts, WA Messenger & WA Business on iPhone with dual SIMs for Personal & Business.

1- have an spare iPhone and transfer the 2nd SIM from the primary phone over to the spare iPhone

2- once the spare iPhone is activated with you 2nd business phone number, and it’s connected to your home WiFi, download the WA Business app and set it up the way you like.

3- once setup # 2 is entirely completed, on your primary phone, go and add a new eSIM and start transferring the number from nearby device. Complete transferring the business phone number from the spare iPhone back to your primary phone.

4- your primary phone is now setup with dual SIM again, one personal, one business.

5- on primary phone, download WA Business app, open the app, select & choose a different phone number, and enter the newly transferred number from the spare iPhone.

6- you will receive WA activation code sent to the spare iPhone “while the spare iPhone is still connected to your home WiFi.

7- enter the code on your primary phone activation page and follow the next screen to complete the installation.

8- so now, you have both your personal WA Messenger + WA Business installed on the same phone with dual SIM.

I didn’t give up & it took a week for me to figure that that out. I knew it should work.
