Not receiving Whatsapp activation codes on i phone 13

Hello, I am not receiving the Whatsapp activation codes on my i phone 13. I tried the text and voice, none works. It says, "Can't send text to your number" and when it comes to voice calling, it says, "Can't call your number, please check the number." I checked my new sim, sim works just fine, nothing wrong with the sim. I tried with a different sim, still doing the same thing. I have updated the software IOS 18, nothing working. I called my carrier, they checked the number, my sim is good, nothing wrong with the sim.

Is this something to do with the set? May be a software issue?

I took the sim out of my iphone and put it on my new Vivo phone. My Whatsapp worked on my Vivo phone. I received the activation code on my Vivo phone. Once the Whatsapp activated, I took the sim out of my Vivo phone then placed it on my new iphone. It worked. My Whatsapp worked.

This is the only way I activated my Whatsapp on my iphone 13.

Nope not an Apple, iphone or software issue. Text message/Call is your phone carrier feature. Whatsapp is META's app.
