Not receiving security codes by text

Recently switched from AT&T to Verizon and currently currently I do not receive security codes through my text messages which I did receive previous my switch. Anybody can tell me is the same thing in message text messages or is this a thing with carriers or is this a thing with Verizon question

Generally, those verification codes are sent using Short Code Text Messaging. These short code text messages are received from a 5 or 6 digit phone number. This capability/feature is provided and managed by your carrier (Verizon). I recommend that you contact your carrier (Verizon) and tell them about not receiving verification codes which may be sent over short code messaging service. Their support team should be able to address this for you and find a resolution.

Were you ever able to get this working. I did the same switch in carriers you did and have been contacting them for 34 days now. Verizon passes the buck to Apple, Apple passes it back to Verizon and I'm the football without short codes from Apple.


I have contacted Verizon engineers as well as Apple engineers. Verizon sees no errors. Apple sees errors but tells me they are Verizon's. My line doesn't appear active with Apple but Verizon says it's clear. Apple's codes are the only ones I cannot receive and now one is helping solve.
