I am l looking for a way to monitor my parents iPhone. I have her Facebook and email but I need to get access to other apps like texts and what'sApp. Is there an easy way to monitor?
Is the best way spy ware you would use for a kid? Is there a way to use parental controls?

No, you can’t see texts in iCloud. If you have a Mac with the same Apple ID you can set up her phone to forward texts to the Mac and you can see them in the Mac Messages app. That will also work to an iPhone with the same Apple ID, but note that if you do that she can see your texts also.
You can also install WhatsApp on a Mac or PC, then set it up to sync to WhatsApp on her phone. You will see her messages using the WhatsApp on the computer.
No the worst way is spyware whether used for a kid or someone else. Effective spyware requires jailbreaking (hacking) the phone, which puts the user at much greater risk that anything you might “protect” them from by spying on them.
There is no way to monitor texts and WhatsApp, because both have unbreakable security.
If you have access to their phones at all you can go to settings> icloud> under apps using iCloud hit show all and go down to messages and turn on. Then the messages on their device will be uploaded to their iCloud. Apple doesn’t allow you to see text messages in the cloud. BUT you could log into iCloud using their Apple ID and password on a different device and the messages should be synced. I would only do this if you have an old device I wouldn’t do it on one of my personal devices I’m currently using and logged Into.
I do not know if this will help but I recently needed to start monitoring someone due to dr*g use. In the shortcuts app I made an automation for their phone to email me anytime they receive a text from a dealer. You can set it to where you receive a text as well. I also set another automation to receive an email or text when they are at one of the dealers addresses. If this is something that would help let me know and I can try to explain it, I really just had to play around with it for awhile and I’m sure there’s so much more you can do I just haven’t discovered it yet and I can’t find anything online about some of the things I’m wanting to do on shortcuts.

do not know for sure, but I would think all messages backed up to iCloud will be viewable once synced to a device.
