What is the green circle with white dot on Apple Maps ? I tried Maps user guides but can’t seem to find it so please don’t give me links to user guides. Thanks

Pulsing white ring around the blue dot in Apple Maps Why does the white ring around the blue dot in Apple Maps keep pulsing (I’m on iOS 26 and my gps works fine as it has just been checked by Genius Bar regarding the pulsing ring issue)? I left it there for a long time but it still kept pulsing (I initially thought it was the initial calibration but I seem to be wrong). I don’t remember it used to behave like this before. Does anyone know why it does that or is anyone else also having the same thing?
