how do I remove a second Id on my computer

My husband and my Apple ID photo keeps switching to each others. how do I remove him or turn him off as second Id user.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 14.2

One of you needs to be using a separate user account on the computer.

Add a user or group on Mac - Apple Support
