MGL12FD/A; When will IPAD ios 16 be implemented?

Hi there! Im using an Ipad air 2 to inspect electrical installations.

According to iPad-modellen die compatibel zijn met iPadOS 16 - Apple Support (NL)

the MGL12FD/A ( ipad AIR 2 ) will not be compatible with IOS 16. At the moment the device is on softwareversion 15.8. So there seems to be some time to upgrade to a later model.

However I would like to know how much time, when will IOS 16 for IPAD be rolled out?

Is there an Apple schedule floating around whith dates?

Some help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
