Wireless CarPlay apps being interrupted when I plug in wired charging

upgraded to 15pro.

when I get in the car and auto connect wirelessly to my phone CarPlay works fine as always.

trouble begins when I try and plug in my charging cable to charge. After a 3-5 second delay all of the streaming apps stop playing, Apple Music, SiriusXM, etc. if you hit the play button to start it again, it just stops again.

this didn’t happen with my 12 pro. Hopefully it’s just a setting that I can’t find.

Yes this exact thing is happening to my family too. I’m not 100% sure, but I think it started when we upgraded to iOS 17.3. I updated to 17.3.1 last night hoping that would fix it, but it doesn’t. If we plug in our iPhones to charge before connecting to CarPlay, music will play while charging, but if we unplug, then music stops immediately. It’s very annoying.
