Macbook Pro - Whatsapp froze on an in call - can't make calls any more

Hi there, I was on a call and the call froze. It stayed as 'in call' on my laptop. As such I cannot make any calls on Whatsapp on the laptop. But it does work on my iPhone. I tried to close and re-oppen the app but it doesn't work. Any suggestion please? Thank you.

Unable to access other WhatsApp chats during a call after update I used to be able to make a WhatsApp call and while still on that call I could access all my WhatsApp messages and type replies to contacts. Since the new update I can make the call , look at WhatsApp for the contact I’m on the call with BUT there is no longer a bar with a left arrow that lets me access my other chats . Can't switch to chats during WhatsApp voice call Hello, I can't switch to my chats or click on the contact info during a WhatsApp voice call because the dynamic island screen is blocking the top layer. If I switch to the call screen, I can see it for a split second, but can't press any buttons. If I switch back to this chat screen, I can briefly see the buttons, but then this top layer blocks it again. Sometimes it does work, most of the time it doesn't. I don't know how to reliably fix this issue. It's really frustrating because I can't look at other chats or message somebody else during a call. Can somebody help me out? [Edited by Moderator]

WhatsApp hangs after Siri reads an incoming message out on CarPlay When an incoming message in WhatsApp is read aloud by Siri in CarPlay the app hangs and you cannot reply, reread or not reply. You can press the tiles icon in bottom right of the screen to return to the normal in car display. It also no longer recognises the names of group chats. This has happened for roughly the last 5 days. I have checked the App Store and there is no app update available for WhatsApp. Updating to the latest iOS has had no effect either. For someone who does 2-600 miles a day in the car this is incredibly frustrating.
