Can't switch to chats during WhatsApp voice call

This is not an Apple issue. WhatsApp developers have released multiple updates addressing various bugs and performance issues. Please update your app to latest version.

Some users are reporting that they had to delete the app and then update in order to resolve the issue. Please be sure to backup your data before deleting the app so as to insure no loss of data.

Swiping right while on a WhatsApp call will switch to other WhatsApp chat messages.

WhatsApp has a lot of bugs this upgrade cycle. The developers have been releasing updates pretty regularly, 4 updates in 7 days. Please make sure you’re updating to latest version of WhatsApp and keep checking daily.

Whatsapp is a META app.

I am also facing the same issue and can't open chats or do any other WhatsApp function when I am on a WhatsApp call and can see the back arrow briefly

I have the same issue and it started after the update to ios 26

Same issues here. Blocking Dinamic Island while on Voice Call.

Hope this problem will solve in shortest possible time.

it really is very frustrating. I often multi task whilst on a call and now i cannot access my chats wi the others whilst on whatsapp call
