Apple Music

What is the justification for requiring an Apple Music subscription to continue listening to music that you purchased? How is any item not mine forever after purchase (I did not rent or borrow the music, I bought it)

why do I pay a usage fee for something that was purchased?

this seems like having to return magazines if you do not keep the subscription current. Apple chat is unable to provide an explanation

Did you purchase the Music in the iTunes Store or upload the music yourself?


Songs that were purchased in the iTunes Store as well as uploaded music can be listened to without the Music subscription. To view and redownload the songs purchased in the iTunes Store, check this out:
