Issue with my Scarlett 18i20 Interface - NO SOUND coming from Logic X

Top of the day!


Recently purchased a Scarlett 18i20 (3rd Gen) to add to my studio setup. I'm using a 2019 MBP, Ventura 13.5.1 and running Logic X 10.8.1.


I connected my interface, I play iTunes and the internet thru it, no problem getting sound. I run my MPC Studio DAW, runs just fine getting sound. When I get to Logic X no sound is coming out.


I assigned the new interface to my Mac, Logic X, and MPC and all are working fine except Logic X. I verified the drivers from Focusrite, I restarted my Mac all that, still same result.

Any pointers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, clearly I'm missing something.

Hello, the same problem occurs in my setup -configuration (10.8.1 logic pro; 13.6.4 ventura - mbp 16 m1max 64gb ram ;year 2021). A temporary solution is to reset the FOCUSRITE driver from the Focusrite Control application. -

restore factory defaults.


Unfortunately, it does not help forever - after some restarts, the same thing happens again and a Reset is needed again.
