sharing between Macs

I got a new Mac book air and want it to share excel files with my other Mac. what is the setting I need to make that happen?

Problem setting up file sharing between iMac and MacBook Pro Hey! I have an existing iMac and a new MacBook (both running Sonoma) that I want to connect to share files and external drives. Reading the Support pages and watching some YouTube videos suggests this should be very simple via System Settings>File Sharing. Switch Sharing on. Then Finder>Go>Network>Connect As>Connect>Enter name and password (from other device). It’s not working on the MacBook though - so I can’t see what is on the iMac. The username and password dialogue box just shakes and nothing happens. The iMac does connect to the MacBook (so from the iMac I can see what is on the MacBook)but not the other way round. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance!

Transferring Microsoft Office apps to new Macbook Hello community, I have just purchased a new MacBook Air and would like to transfer my current Microsoft Office apps (Word, OneNote, Excel and PowerPoint) to my new device, however I'm not sure if this is something one can actually do. Is anyone familiar with this process? I made a one-time purchase back in 2020 of these apps so I'm not keen on buying the Microsoft apps again if I don't have to. Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.
