i unplug my iphone after charging 80 percent then i turn off my iphone for 5 minutes & when i turn on my iphone autometically increase 2 percent total show 82 percent is it good or bad?

i unplug my iphone 15 pro max after charging 80 percent then i turn off my iphone for 5 minutes & when i turn on my iphone automatically increase 2 percent that shows 82 percent in total.is it good or bad?

It's normal. Your battery percentage was at the time the phone was on and whatever tasks it was doing were running. When you turned the phone off and then back on, the remaining battery charge was reset to what the phone has available at the moment you turned it back on.


There is no need to micromanage the battery. Just use it and charge it when it needs to be charged, preferably at night, all night long, while you sleep.
