Issues with NBC streaming app

I am having all of the same issues that have been listed previously in regard to the NBC streaming app and have done everything that everybody is suggested to try to resolve the problem. The interesting thing is is that when I boot the app up after doing all of the “fixes“, all I get is a black screen and some video when I am trying to access NBC’s local Station WMAQ. However, if I switch to the option of NBC Now, the video plays perfectly. I am absolutely befuddled! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
