no voice with hearing aids

I have Resound hearing aids (2023 model). I can hear calls (Iphone 13) very well, but regularly people on the other end say they can't hear me. I recently found that when I switch a call to speaker mode they hear me fine. Looking for a fix Thanks

You may want to check that "mute" is not accidentally on during a phone call:

See: Apple support's article: While on a call on iPhone - Apple Support

Seems you may need to adjust the iPhone settings, and set the microphone volume for your hearing devices.

There are a few ways you can access the settings"

  • In Settings: Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Hearing Devices > MFi Hearing Devices.
  • By triple-clicking a button: With Accessibility Shortcut if you’ve set it up.
  • In Control Center: Tap . (If you don’t see , you can add it to Control Center.)

  • On the Lock Screen: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices > MFi Hearing Devices, then turn on Control on Lock Screen.

From the Lock Screen, you can do the following:

    • Check battery status.
    • Adjust ambient microphone volume and equalization.
    • Choose which hearing device (left, right, or both) receives streaming audio.
    • Control Live Listen.
    • Choose whether phone and media audio are routed to the hearing device.
    • Choose to play ringtones through the hearing device.

Above info. comes from the complete article: How to: Use hearing devices with iPhone - Apple Support

If needed: Clear the microphones

    1. Remove any screen protectors, films, or cases from your iPhone.
    2. Clear any debris from the openings of your iPhone.

All the best :-)
