when i’m attempting to set up a focus for when i arrive home that specifically ignores notifications from certain people when im at home. unfortunately, when i try to add certain people, their contact info is unable to be selected. it’s grayed out. why is this?

Do you happen to have Screen Time Restrictions set to ON? If YES, then try turning it OFF.
Open Settings ➡️ Settings ➡️ Screen Time ➡️ Content & Privacy Restrictions ➡️ Contacts: Ensure that this switch is set to ALLOW.
