All video calls choppy

All my video calls, whether on Zoom, Teams, Huddle, etc., are choppy. There are a lot of micro-cuts in the calls, both in the voice and in the video. However, video streaming (HBO, Netflix, etc.) works fine. I don't have any connection problems or issues with CPU or memory overload (already tested). What could be the problem?

Wired Internet connectivity and not WiFi with 1GB fiber connection. CPU Utilization is focused on a kernel task which consistently chews up most of the available resource. I have disabled automatic graphics switching and typically I have few apps running in the background when on calls (but sometimes it is a requirement) This was not a problem for me in the past, I could be on hours longs calls across multiple platforms without lag. I also have been disabling my external monitor and while that may delay the onset of lag, it does not eliminate it. I have seen related posts in the past suggest going to recovery mode and reinstalling the operating system, is that really my next step? Am in the process of upgrading to 14.6 right now, but once that is done I will do further tests and potentially reinstall if that is required. Frustrated Terry

Continuity Camera freezing and unfreezing during video calls and screen sharing My continuity camera (Iphone 15 Pro) has been a great tool for podcasts, video calls, and screen sharing for clients. For no apparent reason, it has started freezing and unfreezing. When screen sharing, it keeps recording the screen, but the mic and camera freeze and unfreeze. It's getting progressively worse also. During a video call yesterday, it permanantly froze and I had to abondon it and open my Mac Book air.

Issues with video calls in MS Teams app on my new iPhone 17 Pro Anyone else experiencing issues with video calls on MS Teams with the new iPhone? My camera angle seems to be stuck on vertical and cannot be changed. I do not have this issue with WhatsApp or FaceTime or any other video.
