Face ID not working

Face ID not working.


Right so I have an iPhone 13, running the latest version of iOS, which I purchased a little over a year ago, but since yesterday Face ID has completely given up on me. It started by not recognising my face but after I removed the Face ID whenever I tried enabling it again it always said move iPhone higher/ lower. I have tried resetting the settings, Restarting the phone, factory reset the phone and none of these have worked. Portrait mode works as it should. Any advice? From what I have seen it is a pretty common issue across all iPhones with Face ID.

If you're sure that nothing (case/cover, screen protector, dirt) interferes with your front camera (remove any obstacles, if present), see this support article:--> If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro and/or this one:--> If an alert says Face ID has been disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro


If the issue persists, after performing all the steps provided in the above support articles, contact Apple Support directly, using this specific link:--> https://getsupport.apple.com/?caller=kbase&SG=SG003&category_id=SC0999&symptom_id=23303 , or make an appointment and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
