Apple Mail only sending thumbnails to digital frame

I got a digital photo frame for Christmas and have been loading it with old photos. It works fine when I do them one at a time.

I have really old photos in a folder on my MacBook. I selected about 20 at a time and attached them to an email that I sent to the frame. However, the frame only received low-res thumbnails. In the 'Sent' folder of my email, it says, 'Download full resolution images available until Feb 9.' But that's the only reference to that message. It's not in the email itself, meaning even if I wanted to download the full-res images, there are no buttons to click or references anywhere. I checked the iCloud version of the email, and it's the same situation.

Does anyone know how to get the full-resolution images downloaded? I need to figure that out so I can then move on to getting them into the frame.

Thanks

I wonder if your email system, or the frame's email system, limits the size of attachments. I remember getting the question, sometimes, of something like "Do you want to send this as a link?" Sending 20 full sized images, maybe 200 MB, might not be allowed by the email system.

By the way, the digital frame is unlikely to be 6000 pixels wide-- there's no reason to send full sized images. In File>Export>Export nn Photos, you can specify the width or height of an exported picture.

Perhaps you can look up the size of the frame's display to see what smaller size will work. You also wouldn't need the metadata of titles and location.

I export the pictures to a flash drive and plug that into my frame. No email; works great.
