how do I copy my iphone text messages to my computer (PC)?

I use my iphone text messages to share important info. it's like a personal journal.

is there a way to copy my iphone text messages to my PC? (iPhone XS, lenovo notebook using Windows 10/11). i don't want to put the messages on the cloud as a backup, i want to put them on my computer and be able to read them there.

i don't use iMessage, i just use the messages app on my phone.
