i have paid my installment contract of 12 payments for my ipad but they are still saying i owe one payment apparently first payment was not credited although it was made. i called the bank but the person i talked to hung up on me

I have called Goldman Sachs various times and the last time I called I got hung up on trying to fix my installment contract since they don’t seem to understand that 12 payments of a 12 payment contract is the total balance. They keep insisting that I make a 13th payment when it was their fault because they didn’t credit the first one, although it was Deducted

Review your last 12 statements and make sure you’ve made all the payments. In my experience the payments don’t start until the month after the purchase. The payment at time of purchase only covers the sales tax. If you purchase an item on 12 months installments on January 1, 2024, the first payment will not be due until February 29, 2024 and the 12 months will not end until February 28, 2025.

If you believe you’ve made all the payments please contact an Apple Card Specialist at Goldman Sachs Bank.

Great, thank you for sharing! Now look at the date in the upper left corner of the image you shared. The date is in January (2024) this month. The statement you circled say >This month’s installment.< This month is January. You need to pay this month, to fulfill your installment agreement.

What you’ve posted confirms everything I said above.

Your first payment was February of 2023. When you pay January 2024 (this month) will be 12 payments.

Yes, thank you.

You got billed for the first installment January 31. The installment was a part of your >Minimum Payment Due< that was paid in February. It was impossible to pay it in January because you hadn’t been billed for the first installment yet. If you did pay extra in January it was was applied to your regular balance due and not your installment.
