Macbook Pro 16 M1 Max + external monitor + Microsoft RDP = fatal system error and reboot

Hello, I have been watching this error for a long time and depending on the MACOS versions, various errors were displayed for the processor, network card, etc.

Previously, I thought that this happens without any patterns, but now I am definitely sure that the cause of the error is a bunch:

An external monitor is connected and a Microsoft RDP session is active.

If you just work on macos with an external monitor, then everything is fine. As soon as the work occurs inside the RDP session, after some time the screen freezes, it is impossible to switch to Macos and after some time the macbook overloads, rarely displaying a message that the system rebooted due to an error, and only something is written about Watchdog timer. But often he doesn’t write anything at all.

it doesn’t matter how the monitor is connected - directly via HDMI or via the original Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport adapter

It seems to me that Apple technical support doesn't care about their customers. On October 17, 2023, detailed information was left on the same problem on the previous version of MacOS 14.0 (23A344). There was no reaction. Now the problem is exactly the same, only there are no error reports. Equipment diagnostics also do not show a problem:

Another subtlety is that the error occurs when working with Autodesk Inventor on RDP. According to your logiс, need to contact Autodesk? ;-)

if this is a specific Apple problem, then you should be label to induce it in all-Apple software.

When you can, Apple support would like to take extensive information for a Bug Report. That will allow them to duplicate that problem in their Engineering labs, and go about finding a solution.

if it only mis-behaves when using a Microsoft networking product, I assure you their work around will be to stop using that software, or contact Microsoft for assistance.

You are not talking to Apple Support when you post here. You are talking to other users, like you. No one here get a paycheck from Apple or can speak for Apple. Posts here are Not tracked or followed in any methodical way. When you post here, you are asking for advice from other Users. NOTHING more.

Apple does not visit here looking for assertions of problems. They respond with Engineering Support when you file a properly documented Bug Report through Official Apple Support:

Do you have a lot of free time to write nonsense? By your logic, anyone experiencing the same problem with Youtube and an external monitor should contact Google (and some people also have such problems).

This is a specific Apple problem, either hardware or most likely software, since depending on the version of macos, completely different errors are displayed: first a processor error, then a network card error, etc., now it just hangs and reboots without any error.
