I purchased iPhone SE May 2022. Recently I checked my battery maximum capacity and it's already 86%.
Is that normal? it's just only 1.5 year using. To me, it seems like the battery life is going down pretty quick.
Please let me know your opinions. Basically I'm not a heavy phone user.

You're pretty much right on track.
Batteries degrade over time with usage due to chemical aging, that's just how they work.
You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone. This is an approximation, that is why it may be plus or minus a few percent on a month to month basis.
Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%. To check your battery health, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.

You phone is 18 months old. If it were average......and since the Maximum Capacity declines at an average rate of about 1% a month.....the phone would be expected to be at about 82-84% at this time.
Your phone is at 86%......better than average.
