To answer your question, it is not normal for a new (model) iPhone battery health to develop severe battery drain only two months from purchase.
In your case, an iPhone 14 is not a new model. What you didn’t mention was where the purchase was made.
Unfortunately, you are beyond the return window for a refund of the purchase.
For more information:
All rechargeable batteries are consumable components that become less effective as they chemically age.
Recent software updates can accelerate that process by adding features that consume more power.
As lithium-ion batteries chemically age, the amount of charge they can hold diminishes, resulting in shorter amounts of time before a device needs to be recharged.
Li Ion (Lithium Ion) batteries have recharging capabilities; however there are limits.
Temperature Effects on Li Ion Battery Life:
I recommend to slow charge your iPhone to maximize the charge capacity, battery health and efficiency. ⚡️🔋
NOTE:
Temperature: Charge above -30°C and Discharge below 55°C.
Apple won’t replace the battery until it reaches 80% capacity.

What was the battery "Maximum Capacity" at the time when you bought the used phone two months ago? Hopefully, you are not thinking that the phone was "new" at the time....because it was not.
As a very general guideline, the Maximum Capacity of a genuine battery will decline on average at about 1% a month. So, if you purchased the phone when the Max Cap was at about 91%, it would be normal to expect the Max Cap to be at about 89% at this time.
After 2 months, no. Not if it was new.
The iPhone 14 was discontinued in February of 2025. The pro models were discontinued in September of 2023.
You bought a used phone.
No, sounds like the phone was purchased with a "boosted" battery or one that had been replaced with an aftermarket battery. An iPhone 14 was not purchased new from Apple 2 months back, so it is difficult to determine what has actually been done.

Go to Settings, General, About, Applecare Coverage, do you have 10 months to go, or does it say Expired? That will tell you if the phone was used when you bought it.
As well ad the 80% limit by Apple on replacing batteries, if it has been worked on by a third party then Apple will not touch it.
