iPhone 13 Pro Max Camera Refocusing

If I'm correct, my iPhone 13 would start off on the wide lens. However, if my camera focuses on the face of a person, the wide lens would blur, and the camera would automatically shift to the ultra wide lens. This is for photo mode. In ultra wide lens, the photo looks somewhat blurry and of lower quality than that in wide.

Sometimes, when I shoot a video, my wide lens would blur especially when it focuses on the face, and when I tap the screen, the camera would switch to ultra wide, and messes up the quality.

Macro Control is on, by the way.

Is there a way to stop the automatic refocusing and blurring of the wide lens, especially when shooting a video? This is really annoying and can result in really bad shoots!
