depends on what kind of video editing you want to do. The MacBook Air does not feature active cooling, so when rendering long, professional 4K projects it can take a while longer, because the performance of the MacBook Air when performing long, heavy tasks will go down a bit to prevent it from overheating
But most of the times with not very huge projects the MacBook Air will do just fine.Just remember that the lack of active cooling (a fan) can be an issue with heavier workloads. But I have to say: I have a MacBook Pro and I never heard the fans kicking in. So the passive cooling must be rather good.
