I want to delete a game but when i download again it should be as is I have never done so before. ie start from very begining

When I delete an App and re-download, the game picks up where I left off. I want to start over from the beginning. It always shows in the App store to have been previously downloaded. It should be as if I am downloading for the first time. My progress is being stored somewhere other than my phone or Icloud as I do not save anything from games to my Icloud.
