Black rectangular box at top of iPad screen

The black box appears at the top of my iPad screen and has in it whatever my pointer has clicked on. How to get rid of the black box?

Check if you enabled AssistiveTouch in Settings>Accessibility>Touch>AssistiveTouch... and disable it.

When done, restart your iPad.

When/where do you see it? I mean, in what screen(s)? Doing what?

Can you please post a screenshot of that "black box", so that we can better understand?

Assistive touch is not on and the black box is still here. Thanks-any other ideas?
