Pinching in and out on PDF documents on Safari makes the document jump back and forth

Zooming in and out on PDF documents on Safari makes the document jump back and forth between pages.

This is happening on most pdf documents. I've noticed that this is more noticeable passing from a page width view and zooming on small items.

This has been going on for years and many other people have also told me about this problem, it only shows up in Safari pdf viewer as far as I know.

While recording I was only pinching in and out on the document, not moving the fingers around.

Has anyone else noticed this issue? I’ve been having this problem for ages, and have resorted to open PDFs in Adobe Acrobat to read through them zooming in and out to read text on the iPhone screen.
