Outgoing mail not working

When I go to send an email it says server is not working on outgoing mail

iCloud Mail Server not Working I am suddenly unable to send or receive emails via the iCloud server. I have made no changes to any settings. The problem occurs both on my iPhone and my MacBook. When I try to send a message, I am confronted with this pop-up: Can someone suggest what I can do to fix this?

Cannot send Mail The sender address was invalid I've looked at the answers but when I go to Settings/ Mail /account there is no option to see the server info or therefore change it.
