Why isn’t my iCloud account recognised by Microsoft Authenticator when it begin recovery of iCloud backup?
I need help with recovering iPhone data related to MS Authenticator App. iPhone lost data due to forgotten new passcode within 72 hours. After re-downloaded App (lost after login even though iPhone didn’t alert me reset data), I login but Microsoft Authenticator list only my primary Microsoft Account.
On iPhone, after open the Authenticator app,
(1) selected Begin recovery, my primary account turned out not where backup had been.
(2) Thinking backup were on my other personal accounts, I added them but App no longer ask for Begin Recovery.
(3) Noticing iCloud Backup is off, I turned it on but didn’t continue because there is already an recent iCloud backup as following App alert “There is already a backup on your iCloud account on another device.”
Why don’t Authenticator App recognise my iCloud account?
- Sign in to your recovery account using the personal Microsoft account you used during the backup process. Your account credentials are recovered to the new device.
